Cretan white medium sweet wine expresses the long standing winemaking tradition of the island of Crete where wine has been crafted since the Minoan era of the Bronze Age. Our winery in the village of Psihro continues this heritage by producing wines that highlight the true potential and quality of Greek vineyards. Crete is a genuine wine ark that carries remarkable indigenous varieties together with international ones that have adapted beautifully to the island’s terrain and climate.

White grape varieties of Crete include Vilana, Vidiano, Dafni Thrapsathiri, Malvazia di Candia, Muscat of Spina and Plyto each offering unique aromas and character. Red varieties such as Kotsifali, Mantilari, Liatiko, Tsardana and the legendary Romeiko complete the rich viticultural identity of the island.

Cretan wine makers preserve the traditional knowledge of the past while embracing modern techniques. They explore different varieties experiment with new methods and create wines with fresh aromas depth and balance in order to meet the preferences of every wine lover.
